Default What am I missing?

I want a few appearance mods done to my car but not sure what to get.

What I do want so far is a WS6 badge on the bumper, red PONTIAC rear bumper inserts, and VHT my rear side marker lights, oh and a LOTB badge......but what else you think I need?

Just want to hear your guys thoughts

P.S. I don't have lots of $$$ so rims are out of the question lol

- already told you how I feel about matte black stripes! lol

- since you're set on red fill-ins, another possible option (than solid red) would be the two toned red/black http://emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/2040/1635 but, they only have an example with red as the border color, not sure how it'd look with black as the border with a red center.

- tinted windows

- if your key fob remote works, smoothlock covers. Loved these on my old camaro, but I only recommend them for people with black cars as they come with a glossy/black finish. So they won't look right on other colors, unless you're going to paint them. http://www.smoothlock.com/ they sell an f-body specific set for all 3 key holes

- maybe black out the 3rd brake light

- swap out the decals on the rear center panel with new/vibrant red ones to replace the original 11 year old ones. Maybe even get a different style bird? I LOVE the bird I put on mine (Sorry no close-up shots) http://www.flickr.com/photos/la-rue/...57629434052971

tint the talights, red fill-ins would look good, red blackbird stripes to match the red fill-ins, tinted windows. the trans ams don't need much to look good aside from a drop but your car already looks lowered. just keep saving for a good set of rims

I love the factory wheels. I would paint or get a decal for the bird emblem on the front license plate cover, tint the windows darker, and fix your power antenna.

Those wheels look really well. I would say some red black bird stripes and front bird. Tint the windows as well.

Tint, dark silver or matte black stripes would look good,i wouldnt go to crazy with the red,the red on the badges is prob more than enough, and red calipers, then save up 2500 and get some killer wheels that someone is selling,or even c5dd would look nice on there, nice forged wheels go for 2200,2600 with good tires,i know it seems like alot but its so worth it,and when ya have them you will be so happy ya got them, nice ride though man,

OP - That is a very nice looking Trans Am. I wouldn't do too much to her. I had that same car in red and I absolutely loved it. Same wheels and all. The only thing I did was change the center caps to chrome/polished. You can purchase these from SLP, at least I think you still can. It was subtle but it made the wheels look even better on the car. I would shoot you a pic of the car but my SLD *** hasn't figured out how to quite do that yet! Good looking car though!

Thanks for all the input guys!

Well first off, the side windows are tinted 35% lol (should of done 5%)

Now if I put some red, i dont want a lot. So been thinking of a red bird on the front nose and change the "ram air" stickers to red. Also, may add the LOTB badges on each side of the fender.

The side moldings have been removed (may be hard to tell from the pics)

3.5" Corsa clones have been on my mind, and may change the tips. Along with the WS6 badge to complete the rear bumper look.

Now IF i decide not to do any red decals, the matte black blackbird stripes is my second option.

P.S. James (Crimson) where did you get that rear center panel bird for your car? I do like that bird look better

I would not do the red fill ins, just get chrome or silver instead and it will look much more classy. Also remove the Trans Am logo from the door. Everyone knows what they are, no need to tell them on the side and break up the clean lines.

If its not a true WS-6..dont do it. Dirt just gets stuck in those badges.

I would not do any stripes at all. just ruins it in my opinion. I also would not do the LOTB, but I like a clean look. If you are set on stripes, maybe a silver blackbird stripe on the hood?

LIGHTLY tint the rear tails and get some darker tint...5% sucks at night and hard to back up...maybe go 20%.

Very nice looking car man.

LMAO I literally thought this exact same thing. people say the same stuff about the whole murdered/blacked-out look, corvette wheels on fbodies, corsa clone tips, certain hoods, stripes, etc etc...

the whole "played out" thing means nada! Do what you like and what you think looks nice, and you'll be happy.

Yeah I want to keep it clean and subtle. Not too much flash, but the little touches that does make it stand out.

I think I'll be removing my side trans am emblems

I would go with silver BB stripes IMO I have a red WS6 and have silver BB stripes and it sets it off nicely. Would also do the rear letters in silver, bird on front also. The doors I would keep the Trans Am and also silver overlays. Last of breed badges are a nice touch. I also changed the tail light filler bird to match the bird on front bumper looks better. This is found on collector edition trans ams.

I do have to say the crimson bird car above looks badass.
