finally did something about my terrible headlights

You actually see that driving down the road or even on the car in front of you. Inside each projector housing is a cutoff.....a piece of metal shaped like a Z. It's intent is to have the light output "cutoff" so that the bright lights aren't blinding oncoming traffic. Different projector housings have different cutoff levels. It just so happens that the Hella housings that most use on here for retrofitting HID projectors are some of the worse.

Putting HID lights in non-projector housings produces an annoying glare for oncoming traffic. The point of a projector housing is to tame the powerful light. It 'cuts off' the light output at desirable level....you still have bright light on the road, but not pointed at someones eyes. I recommend running the LMC housings as intended, or having a proper projector/HID setup.

I got these also but after my excitement was over and I reviewed my install, I noticed I installed mine upside down... I don't think it matters since I see them and they don't seem to look different from the top or bottom reflection. Can you take a pic of how yours light up the road so I can compare them to mine?

I like how the housing is simple to put in, and looks 100x better then stock.
So let me get this straight.....a HID kit will plug right into the LMC headlight kit?

that sucks about the uptick , i got the projector plates two months ago and im getting the hella projectors for xmas . not what i wanted to hear . my bro has the lmc and hids and its great but i wanted to one up with the projectors.

I'll run hids, cause I want to see. And they all plug right in. I adjusted mine and now they're perfect. I still want more light though, so when the hids come they will be going in. Can't be worse for on clmjng traffic than my lifted truck with hids...
