Default Just got my Superhawk hood.

Just took delivery of my new Superhawk hood. Hopefully I'll get to have it painted/installed here soon. My car is pewter, I'm thinking have painting the heat extractors black.

looks good. Was it difficult to plastidip it? How many cans or coats did you use?

My WS6 is black and the hoods clearcoat is peeling off and im thinking about plastidipping it just until i get the whole car painted again.

Wasn't bad. Just lay it on heavy in small sections at a time. It isn't perfect, but it looks better than the white gel coat that my hood was, and it should protect it. I think i used 4 cans or so. I'm not sure because i had a bunch of used cans laying around. If you run out just go get some more, it should blend no problem. Or just get extra like me, haha. I always find uses for it. I've done both my sail panels, wheels, and tail lights
