Project "$300 Firebird"
The first stage of parts/mods:
-Cut stock springs 2 coils front, 1.5 rear (FREE)
-Entire front end (Donated from my vert project car)
-A-arms/ball joints/spindle/wheel bearings
-Calipers/pads/rotors/rubber brake lines/hard brake lines to ABS
-Steering rack
-Shocks/springs
-C5Z wheels, gunmetal, 18x10.5, 17x9.5 (Borrowed)
-Rebuilt top end
-Gaskets ($200)
-LS7 lifters (Donated)
-New Passenger Door ($40)
-New rocker panel ($20)
-Turn signal housings ($40)
-LEDs for Fogs, Turn Sig, Interior ($100)
-Pulled seats, shampoo'd carpet and plastics
Total investment so far ~$700

Yea, its in perfect shape, haha, no broken clips, doesn't even have the normal crack... at 180k miles. The interior is in near perfect shape, it had ghey covers on everything...
The dash pad isn't cracked at all.
Besides, after the top swap, Ill have more power than a stock LS1.

It was difficult for my to not get carried away and clean/paint/powdercoat all the parts..
My old 454 car will be getting a 6.0 LQ4 and a 78mm turbo, which will replace this as my daily, and this car will be sold.
Then I can finally get to work on my real project...

For now, I'm happy to not have to drive my wrangler on 35s everyday on the highway.
and yes, I know I need to finish cleaning off the "firebird tape", it hurts my fingers...
Also, I have a replacement fender, for both sides, when I have time to work on painting the car.
