01' Mustang GT full correction
Finished this car today. It was kinda thrashed but it turned out nice. Outside of the rock chips that I obviously can't do anything about I got about about 80-85% correction on it. The car had really deep water spot etching and there were several that needed wet sanded out but because of where they were at I didn't feel comfortable attempting it. Products I used are below

Dawn dish soap
Meg's APC+

Adams DWC getting it done
Some APC+ action
Foamed and ready to go
Trying out my new Car pro wash mitt
Forgive the dark pics. It was just about dark when I sprayed the Iron X on. The car bled purple for about ten minutes.
I had to Iron X the back of the car twice. The iron contamination was so bad it had sucked it up under the trunk lid. More on that later.

This is the first time using FG400 and to say it's amazing is an understatement. One thing I noticed very quickly is it creates A LOT of heat! It's probably not as bad on a foam pad or using a PC but with a MF disc on the Rupes with the washer mod I am pretty confident you could burn down to primer with the quickness. The utmost care was used when using this combination. i.e. lots of taping edges.
This paint is VERY hard. I think it's harder than the Denali I did a few months back.
After compounding w/ the Rupes 21 on 6inch Meg's MF finishing disc and Menz FG400.

Before on drivers door
After compounding
For some reason I can't find the rest of the pictures of the compounding phase. How you loose one hundred pic's I don't know. Wells hells.
The entire car looked like the the hood and door.
Here's the roof after compounding and polishing.

This paint was so hard it was LSP after one step. Keeping with my "Good enough is never good enough" philosophy I went over it again w/ M205 on a flat black LC pad. It's about impossible to pick up on camera but I did see an improvement in reflections after this step.
Wiped all the panels down and let the BFWD set up over night. Dressed all the trim/black moldings with Adams Super VRT and/or In and Out spray. I had picked up some Adams brillant glaze a while back and have never used it. I'm not a fan of glazes because by design they hide imperfections and some people use that to hide their shotty work. After talking to a friend who has used the Brilliant glaze I decided to use it. The glazes I have seen in the past are thick. Adams glaze is literally like water. I don't see it having any filling or hiding ability. I did a test panel first to verify and I saw no hiding of any kind. The reason I used it is to try and get that extra little pop. Using it on a white car may be pointless but I used it anyway.

Nice job Jason. Glad that you finally had a chance to try out the FG400. It makes life so much easier on jobs like this.
And I agree with your sentiment on Rupes LHR21 + MF + FG400 combo. It cuts quick!

I did black Denali a couple months ago that was an absolute train wreck. Turned out great.
Thank you for the kind words.
It really is impressive stuff. I would like to use it on a softer clear to see how it acts. This clear is so hard I think rocks in a can would have finished out well.
Thanks KingPin.
I got it on sale at Kohls for around 80 bucks. Not really that impressed with it. It does make a lot of steam but doesn't have enough power to blow the dirt away. What I did on the door jambs is use APC+10:1, agitate it with a brush of some sort then hit it with the steamer. That worked really well. I want to eventually get a better steamer but for right now I can't justify the cost.
Thanks Rare. I always appreciate your posts. Damn right it cuts quick. Defect killer!
