Which LED bulb for '99 Camaro brake light?

Which LED bulb for '99 Camaro brake light? My '99 Camaro has part # 2057 brake light bulbs. I would like to replace them with LED bulbs (part # 2057 / 1157)... but I just don't know which particular LED bulb to buy, there are dozens of different models and I would like one that's at least as bright as stock. Also I would like one that fits in the housing, lengthwise. Could someone please recommend me a bulb? Should I buy from ebay or from one of the LED specialists?
Lastly, I read that with dual intensity LED bulbs there is little difference in brightness whether the brakes are on or not at night. Is that true for all dual intensity LED bulbs?
