Felt door guides & more...
Looking at getting new tint done on my car. The guides are shot and the felt needs to be replaced and want to do this beforehand.
Is there anywhere I can go other than Hawks Third Gen? I don't feel like spending $100 on shipping alone for all the parts necessary. Yes, I got all the parts added to my cart and it was $100 on shipping. I paid less than that for my entire catback to be shipped.
Also, since the outside of the windows have scratches in them and hazy at times, is there any way to repair this or do the windows just need to be replaced?

i got my replacement felts and guides from the junkyard. the clip for the outside rubber guide was broken when i got it. so i went to pull a part and found a fbody with good guides. think i paid like 20 for them. and you can see how to take them off and put them on a car and not care if you fu** it up.

When I got my car 3 of the 4 were totally busted. I got a pair used from a member here, then found a third one on ebay brand new. I have yet to install the 3rd one.
GM part number is 10257988 and is called STABILIZE - yeah that's descriptive isn't it But there are several on ebay ranging from $15-25 right now. Seller number1gmparts sells them for $16.95 each.

If you are referring to the long rubber strips that run the length of the top of the door on each side of the glass then you can buy special moleskin strips to attach to those. You sand off the old felt and attach it in place.
