Im sure alot of you have this set up if you are boosted. If you have some pics please post them I could use a little advice on just exactly how they are mounted on the pillar its self.

 

They usually come with little push pins and you drill mounting holes in your existing a pillar and use the push pins to connect the podded pillar to the stock pillar.

 

mine mounts with two screws.

 

I used double sided tape and a heat gun to join mine. Wish I would have done it this way before I put the 2 srews in but its more secure this way. I have 3 2" holes behind each gauge to get wires through. I also have a spare pillar cover if I ever get rid of the gauges

 

Ive seen alot of this^ unfortunately. You have a glowshift pod?

 

Mines only a 2 gauge, but this is how its setup

 

I saw a member here who kinda merged the pod to the pillar by using some sort of filler. After sanding it and painting it, it came out looking really good. Maybe he can chime in if he sees this. Ive been wanting to try this.

 

Anyone have any pics they could post? I ordered a 3 gauge pillar and i just want to get a warm and fuzzy of how its supposed to look before i jack it up. Thanks

nope! not to my knowledge. There was a thread some time ago...we tried to get someone to make a replacement pillar. it was a no go.

he made one for himself but wanted to charge some crazy *** price for it.

I got mine from summit and they included it with like 6 push pins. Your supposed to drill holes in them, i just used 2 at the top and one at the bottom, and i never even notice they are there. Looks like it was made that way from the factory

Both, they are pods molded to the stock pillar.

I have a triple pod pillar from mcalus. Finally solved the eye sore. It really completes the interior look. Very nice quality too. This is the best and only option for gauges in an fbody. It was definitly worth the money. Thanks again mcalus
