Default Need pics of 98-02 Trans Am Foglight

I'm wanting to have my fog lights modified with an HID projector and an LED or CCFL Halo inside the housing and I need a front side and back pic of an oem fog light to send to the guy so he can see if it can be done. Mine are still on the car. If anyone has one loose could you please take a few pics and post them here?
Thanks!

the stock fog light housing itself is curved on the back and far to shallow to mount any projector into, the best way to do the projector fogs is to buy a sealed HID projector (one that doesn't have to go inside a housing) and develop a mount for it and find a way to attach CCFL halos to that, some people have done it on here, check the Lighting FAQ.

the mounts are different but if you look at the first post in this thread http://www.fullthrottlev6.com/forums...in-98-Firebird you can see what your looking for as far as the actual fog light lenses go.

Actually you can get a projector in the factory housing, I finished this retrofit a couple weeks ago.

I used HID's in the original housings but used 1/4" glass for the lens so I wouldn't have a melted mess.

Pictures and details, I am not aware of any projector that is shallow enough to fit inside that bowl, all the projectors I've seen are 4+ inches deep and you have less then 2 inches (estimating) of depth or less as you go toward the outside. I would love to do this so I could actually use HID down there without blinding oncoming traffic, despite the number of people on here that put HID's in the stock fogs (which I tried until I saw the glare in person).

@Blackbirddaddy, the glass lenses really clean them up but most of the melting issues are the housing down where the bulb goes in at kinda like what happened to my fatory DRL lenses in this pic

For some reason I have not had a problem with the housing distorting this summer season.

That's just an HID bulb. I'm wanting to do an actual projector inside the housing.
