Default wheel wells detailing?

anybody have any good ideas how to get the wheel wells good and clean and keep them looking good? I do not own a pressure washer. been wondering if cleaning then rubber undercoating works well? paint? plasti-dip?
saw my car from a distance yesterday, and was like wow, clean except those nasty wheel wells.

A variety of all purpose cleaners could be used, then use something such as Meguiars Hyper Dressing or Adam's undercarriage spray to give it a new, glossy look.

I clean mines with the Adam's all-purpose cleaner, then spray them down with the Adam's invisible undercarriage spray, works great, they come out looking brand new each time.

When mine were really dirty, I cleaned them really well (elbow grease), then painted them with black rattle can paint. They still look like new and that's been quite a while.

Any pics?

You figure from all the rocks and stuff the paint would chip so bad?

Those inner fender liners are a relatively coarse plastic, so the paint would get a good hold and not chip easily. Scratch, at most.

The paint isn't a bad idea either. I might have to clean mine up and do that.

Did you guys paint just the plastic liner or the body color behind the suspension also?

Never tried to paint mine, but I have always used some kind of foaming tire cleaner/shine product with nice results.

I think i used the krylon plastic Paint for the front inner fenders liners and the body and just the cheap stuff for the rear. Both are still holding fine and have been on the car a few years now.

I'll take some pics and get them uploaded. My car never drives on anything but pavement, so rocks and other debris is at a minimum. With that said, there are no chips or scratches at all so far. If there ever, were, it's an easy fix; just grab the spray paint and touch it up.

To reiterate what I did; I sprayed and wiped them down really well, let it dry, then used spray paint and sprayed the entire wheel-well area. You should only need to do this one time if you stay on top of making sure it's clean. Now, if you drive in the rain a lot, or drive on gravel or dirt roads, you may need to repeat it down the road.
