LT1 and LS1 parts interchangeable?
LT1 and LS1 parts interchangeable? Hello everyone!
I have a 99 TA that needs a few small things, and I found a '94 Firebird that is being parted out. Will the dash pad or the driver's front fender fit on the TA? What about small interior parts like the visors or the 6.5" door speaker grill?
If the cars share a lot of common parts, is there anything else that I should grab (glass fogs, etc.)?

dash pad and fender will not fit the dash was changed slightly for 1997 and the front fenders were changed in 1998 along with the bumper and hood.
the small interior parts like speaker grills and the visors will fit except they might be the wrong color. 93-96 had graphite interior which was lighter than 97-99.
fog lights IIRC are different but the 94's are actually stronger than the 98+. dimensionaly i think they are the same size and interchangeable. iirc there's something about 98+ fog lights that cause them to melt if you use higher wattage bulbs that doesn't happen on the 93-97's.

^^^^ what he said, the fogs can be brought over, they are actually better because they are made of metal and glass instead of plastic, at most you may have to swap the mounting brackets of your old fogs to the glass ones.

If you're anywhere near georgia there is a guy down south of Atlanta in Newnan that has like 21 4th gens being parting out, atleast a few of them are 98+ birds, here is one of his adds http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/pts/4085327616.html it has a phone number and he takes paypal and does shipping but I don't know what his prices are like.

Thanks a ton guys! Craigslist in MN is hit or miss...not a lot of cars here. Pull yards don't have any 98+. I did just get a hit on a fender though. Hopefully it pans out!
