Man, let me tell you something. Why instead of doing all that Smokey and the Bandit thing just focus all your energy to polish and detail the car's paintjob. In those pics it looks like its seriously deteriorated. Give that car a nice detailing job to make that black finish come alive. Then do your Smokey theme. Just an idea.

I had an idea of something like this, but thought of changing it up a bit by using the copper metalizer (over a black or gunmetal base), instead of the vintage gold to go for more of a bronze look, just a little modern twist to an old classic.

there is a dipyourcar wheel video with the different metalizers and I like that bronzish look better.

The gold on the wheels is the wrong shade. Needs to be brighter

ok, then try a coat or 2 of the copper metalizer over the vintage gold then, haven't seen that yet.

It would look good with gold blackbird stripes on the hood. I like the general idea.

To the OP looks good man. I will prob do the ceta front same color. Black calipers with small logo or letters in that gold color you used. Do you have more of that color you used before in the last pic? Let me know I live in Hollywood so wouldn't mind putting it on my NBM Ws-6 to see what it looks like

I agree.

He's not talking about dust or dirtiness. He's talking about the swirls, rids, holograms, etc. Your car definitely needs some TLC. I like the theme but currently it helps accentuate the defects....

Megs 105 is pretty strong, but F-body paint is usually pretty healthy at around 100+ microns. He just needs to be careful on the edges.

I've really started to like HD products. HD Adapt is awesome. I agree that car needs some serious TLC and the new theme additions make the paint defects stand out even more....UGH I hate black cars lol

Op, I agree with others, need some correction and detailing, but I like the idea. Bandit t/as are a classic, I like the homage to them.

i think the idea is pretty cool if you are a hardcore smokey and the bandit trans am. But to me, 4th gen birds just dont go with the whole smokey and the bandit trans am theme. I would personally get tired of it within a week or so. Cool idea nonetheless. But definitely have it detailed when you get a chance. Adamspolishes stuff works great and theyre sponsors here too.
