I need a better visual. Is this reminiscent of the old pontiac BMW-looking grill slots?

It will look like a G8...

Car is at the shop for design but first we are finishing the clear tail lights, shaker hood and engine bay front cover...

It won't be any different than a Camaro that has that area opened up...

It will recess more than that. It will be as deep as the foglight holes...

Below are the best I could do with MS Paint:

Ignore the crosshair, imagine a Pontiac style split grille for this one:

Part of me wants (needs rather for the intercooler) something like this for my LT1 but a bigger part of me loves the stock look to much to change it... so on the fence about this

I think it looks pretty terrible. I like the setup of the Trans Ams how it is..a bigger hood or grills on there works but the bumper? Not a fan. To each their own.

For me the ls1 T/A bumper is already too busy. I think it has too many openings and lines as is. I love the lt1 T/A front end because its so smooth and sharp. I suppose on a formula it could add some aggressive properties if done right.

For the guys running the FMIC's though it would make sense and look a little better than 3 openings that have been basically cut out. Make it look a little less... improvised I guess? Not to mention how much more airflow I'm sure the system would get.

But obviously it's just my viewpoint on it.

I think the Black one in Daniel Richards pictures looks awesome. If you can make it like that then I'd love to see it. What about the turns tho?

Well keep those creative thoughts going. Still can't wait for the new tail light lens too.

I had always wondered about the c6 look on a t/a... I'd have to see a better picture (pretty tough, I know, as it's ps'd) but it kinda takes on the catfish look of the camaro... I'm not sure if it looks better that it's almost smiling though lol
