Default Whistler'd Side Markers?

Plan on getting whistler'd HLs and was seeing if anyone has tried to whistler(not tint or niteshade) their side markers.
I've been searching and found only tinted clears on cars. Any input on the subject?
A thread I can't find? Personal experiences? Pics if done would be great.
Thought I've seen em done before but not having luck finding anything now.
I don't mind the blacked out markers but think a whistler might look sharp with over all color scheme I'm eventually going for.
Thanks
P.s. It's for my O2 camaro 35th le

You can't even really see into the sidemarkers like you can headlights, and there's no inner part to paint black unless you're going to paint the bumper? Not sure how you would even do this?

you wont see anything since they are orange colored lenses. if you are talking about using a clear lense then there are already lenses out there premade for this.

Same thing then, check Amazon and eBay. I think I found mine on Amazon when I got them awhile ago. Just look for the brand Depo, those are the ones you want. Sometimes you can find the turn signals and bumper lights as a pair that are whistler'd.

yeah, black housing with clear lenses. Add some silicone to the seam all the way around them and you are good to go

Was mostly curious if people whistler'd the turn signals or bout the black housing. I've seen them nightshaded and they look good just think whistler would look better. If possible mine are stock orange so I can't see inside em

^^ get a hairdryer and blow through the bulb holes to dry up the moisture and then silicone them... You'll save some money and time

I actually have the "whistlered" signals. Not like the ones sold today with the all black housings. Mine have chrome in the rear of the housing on the reflectors , but everything else is black. Matches my headlights PERFECTLY! But yes, do silicone all around the edge of the headlight and a nice new gasket on the bulb socket and you're set.
