Default Rear speaker panels - falling out & stripped screws

How common is this? My two panels are in really rough
shape after removing them a couple of times. The screws
seem to be impossible to remove without damaging them.
Why GM couldn't have used allen screw hardware or a
Phillips head boggles my mind.

I've tried to use zip ties to pull the broken tabs back together
but was interested to hear what everyone else has done to
get these to look decent without just replacing the panels
for $$$$ from GM.

I've seen those panel screws on Ebay. Or you can shave or grind the ugly plastic off and cut a phillips head in with a dremel tool.
