Default back lit bird

I've seen a few people with this mod on their firebirds and was wondering how they accomplished it. the "Firebird" on the front bumper cover is glowing with LED's I'm guessing. anyone done this or know how they did it? when the bird isn't lit up the firebird looks normal. just curious..

I can answer for the front. Clear panel, tape over the thunderchicken and paint to match, peel off tape and fill with LED's...

Lol missed that part about it being for the front.

Do as mentioned above, but make life a lot easier and buy a decal kit for the front bird, instead of trying to tape it off on your own. Lay the decal down, then paint, then remove the decal with a safety pin, then clear coat over the whole thing.

also you can mix in a little color to the clear and spray the backside to affect the output color of the bird and NOT have it be totally clear see through (like how you nightshade tail lights).
