Default The weekend project!

I re-did my engine bay this weekend! Relocated the TCS module, wire tuck, painted coils/valve covers/strut tower brace/shock towers, and redid the lid and base. Still want to polish the condenser, abs module, and throttle body. Then I'll hide the fuse boxes, and get a catch can. Theeeeeen I might do my intake and fuel rails or wait till I get a FAST and go all out on that but I'm extremely happy for now!! As always suggestions are welcomed...

Looks great. Did you remove the cruise control or just moved it?

Looks a lot better; nice work. What is that right next to the AC condenser? Whatever it is, you moved or deleted it.

Thanks Photochop. My car doesn't have TCS, so that explains why my car is missing that.

I didn't realize that TCS and cruise control was the same unit. I wonder where he moved it to?

How are you mounting the TCS back there? I've been wanting to do that but didn't know how to secure it. Might as well do it while I have my heads off.

Mines mounted behind the PCM as well. I used a wire clamp to secure the bracket to the firewall.

Just remove the TCS. It's awful. All you need is a new throttle cable which is like $25 from Tick.

I used a ziptie to hold mine back. Make sure you don't kink the cables at all as it can cause issues i've heard...
