Thank you sir. I know it's no show car but it might be one day if I can maintain my patience.

Looks good op. I started doing a few engine bay appearance mods as well. Black valve covers with red coils looks good.

What did you use to paint the lettering on the intake?

Wire tuck mod is a must to clean up the engine bay.

I like the color scheme so much, I'm actually painting my covers and coils right now the same color lol.

Thanks fellas. As far as the paint on letters, I used red modelling paint and a brush.

Both of you other guys be sure to post pics when you're done. Really cleaned up the engine if you ask me. Wire tuck is this weekend...

It sure does dress up the engine bay a bit. Pictures are a little dim from being in the garage. Just used dupli-color Chevy "victory-red" on the coils and looks pretty close to original paint.

Nice. You should remove the tape from the fuel lines... Makes it look cleaner.

I was thinking about doing this, would there be any harm to doing so?

Nah. You could also replace them with stainless braided lines, but thats like 100 bones.

I like the coils painted. But not sure how it would look since I just did the valve covers. There's just so much black under there that they need a little color to make it look good.

Looks great, much better. They do their job well, but the grey fast intakes are ugly as is.

Yes, ALL of you have such pristine, white glove show quality, engine bays, it makes me wonder if you EVER drive these things!
