PROJECT: Budget Z28
Hey guys new here thought id share my find/on going project, traded my sled for a 94 Z28 camaro LT1 6 speed, very good deal on my end nabbed it from a guy going thru a divorce. goal is to make a 10 second car on a budget.. ya right but i can try.
Loading her up after digging it out of a snow bank, fired up first try.
Couldnt take it to the car wash due to winter roads up here in canada but the paint looked real good uner the dirt and swirls
Statred ripping out the interior was pretty gross
Picked up a set of seats never used got the pair for $250
Found a set of Dynatech ceramic coated longtubed in scratch and dent for $300 shipped also 3" Xpipe kit and x2 dynomax bullets to dual 3.5" tips
Made a custom gauge/switch pod to go in place of the cassete holder out of plexi glass turned out great, swithes are duds for now
next deal i came across..i got XXR 521 wrapped in Nitto 555 for $900
18x8 front 245/40 18x10.5 285/35 both +25 and the fitmet is exactly what i was after love it!
Have lots more parts on the way will keep updated, constructive criticism welcome!

I liked the wheels.... I had considered them myself as they are pretty much ccw classic knock-offs... but I hate the universal lug pattern. Car looks good though. What wheels were on it before? I like them!

Was tols the seats were the 6LE ones
Suspension will be re-done, rear has a bad squeak when you get in it, assuming the busings may just need replacing

i agree, i love watching people make things for their cars. I however never wanted to for my 96 because it was so clean and i didn't want to make it look like crap haha. I was so paranoid i had to have my buddy do the trap door mod just because i couldn't bring myself to do it. However with my trans am that is in no where near the condition my z is i'm all about making all the things!
