Yep . . . That was me !

I like it for the Drag Strip. Cops are notorious for "taking down plate numbers" on the streeet cars they see running at the track !

$450 sounds like $350 too much.

I'm wondering would it fit on the F-Body. I think the holder might be too big. Has anyone done it yet?

We used to have something like that on our street bikes

It was called pulling a wheelie or two holes and 2 zip ties to the plate

Yeah... Having a fraudulent plate on your car would probably get you into more trouble than whatever you're avoiding should you get caught with it.

Well, the way I see it, is you don't run a fake plate. Use a show plate. I've been pulled over for a cover before and all they did was tell me to take the cover off. They didn't even watch. Just gave me a warning. I would imagine a show plate would be just as easy to play off.

But, if you're running this set up and you actually feel the need to use it, all this set up is gonna do is add a traffic citation to what you're actually getting busted for.

^true. I was just going off the video with a couple real license plates being used. gonna assume one isn't legit. but yeah, having a custom plate or something else wouldn't be an issue.

It would be excellent for use at the drag strip, where cops frequently jot down plate numbers of "fast street cars" for later use, in case they feel like hassling someone, or they "lose" a car ( one way or another -LOL ! ).

I like the idea of running Plasti-Dip stripes on the car. In case of an "incident", they could rapidly be peeled off, if needed . . . "Stripes . . . What stripes ?"

run a TRANS AM or CAMARO plate and leave it that way , and if you get stopped by a cop tell them you were showing someone and forgot to flip it back to the way its supposed to be .

Wow that's cool but seems a bit expensive for what it does. It just flips the plates, I could just change it manually it's just 2 screws and I could probably do it in a minute.
