I see alot of autox f-car guys both 3rd and 4th gens use those 17" C4 wheels. Given that they're not that visually appealing, I'm assuming they're pretty light?

The black sail panel looks amazing on a Trans Am, but I'm not a fan of black sail panel on the Formulas. I thinking it looks fine for now with the livery. Everyone has their opinions and mine is rarely the popular vote, but I feel all the Formulas need is the right stance and wheels, then call it day. Maybe down the road if the coin is available, some dark CCW's on hoosiers( they're C10's in the rendering I did ) would look hot.

The good thing about ugly/unpopular wheels is that they are cheap.

Found these on CL, had to ****** them up.

I always said that if I bought a C5 with wagon wheels, I'd get rid of the wheels first thing. After putting them on the Formula, I don't really hate them. I think they might look pretty bitchin in white. They'll be my street wheels.

Just get your monogram on the back glass in lavender and you're set!

Jk, it doesn't look bad you just need something to break up all the blue.

I think I've found the solution...

IMO the Wagon Wheels look killer in white. Still need to do the 17" Wagon Wheels and get them back on the car, but I ran out of Plast-Dip.

Thinking about plasti-dipping a white stripe on the 'nostrils.'

Did alright - It was my best finish since I've been racing with Spokes but the timing equipment was messing up for half the event so all of the runs were unofficial.

I'm on really old take off 275 Hoosier A6s (most ESP guys run 315 square), but the top guys were running mid/high 80s, my fastest was a 90 flat. Was really hoping to break into the 89s

Where's there a track like that around Austin? That sure isn't COTA.

I thought I remember seeing this car on FRRAX lol.

I have 2 sets of 10 spoke SS wheels, one for the street and one for AutoX. Thinking to get something lighter in a 17", but at 20lbs per wheel I can't find a factory wheel (C4 wagon wheel/C6 wheel/C5 wheel) that saves that much weight without going CCW etc.

You could try to find some of the C5 anniversary magnesium wheels. It would be tough, though.

These C5Z wheels (pictured above at Harris Hill) are LIGHT. They make the Wagon Wheels (my streets) feel like lead when I swap back on to them.

Not sure what you are looking for in widths but I got two pairs of OEM fronts so they're 17x9.5 sqaure. I'm going to go to a 17x11 for 315 square at some point next year, hopefully.

From FRRAX 10 spoke ss wheels are 20lbs and 17x9.5 z06 wheels are 19.3lbs.

OEM 17 x 9" 5 spoke SS wheels 19.5
17x9 10 spoke SS rim = 20 lbs.
Z06 C5 17 x 9.5 speedlines OEM 19.3 lbs

92 Firehawk wheels (17x9.5) are 25 lbs

So a .7lb per corner weight saving does not seem worth the hassle to dismount tires, buy new wheels, remount new tires and sell old wheels.

If I was to get wheels it would have to be for 18's so I could plan to run CTSV calipers.
