Really nice work! I love how you are incorporating both screens in the cluster. For a Camaro that is even more appealing since placement for the scan gauge is limited and imo usually looks a bit out of place. Cant wait to see some updates!

Updates will be dependant on parts now. The zif connectors I need for the screen are on backorder. Next update will likely be the frame that secures the screen to the pcb board, that is going to be 3d printed. Once I get final mounting of the screens I can have the gauge face made.

I should have an update in a couple weeks. The zif connectors for the oled screen that were backordered just came yesturday. Sending all the componenents to my friend in Germany this week. I have all the bitmap images done and my font files converted to bitmaps, so it should go relatively smooth.

.... In the meantime, here a look at the graphics im designing for his larger 240x320 tft display. Its going in a fiero cluster. I will eventually be moving to 2 of these screens with a speedhut tach in the middle of them.

At this point electronics are just a hobby. Im teaching myself how to build smd circuits and circuit boards as well as programming the screens with the help of the friend I have in Germany. If it werent for him Id have to add about 6 more months trying to figure the code out. Ive got some cool stuff coming with the smd leds and interior lighting after this project is done, a hint being our window and door lock switches arent backlit....yet
Ive got a degree in graphic design, so for this project its nice to beable to handle all the design work and fab work start to finish.
