^^Ignore that. Read Lee's mentioning vent rings and didn't realize you were talking about the vents themselves...

Hopefully this link doesn't get deleted but I'm pretty sure none of our sponsors carry Miata vent rings.

If 6LITEREATER wants to produce these I'll buy them

Other than the looks have any of you guys noticed a difference in output?

The reason I ask is that a lot of Miata guys swap out their vents for early 2000's Eclipse vents because output/adjustability with these vents isn't all that great. I always have the top down in my Miata so I've never noticed anyway......

Speaking of your car though, we have a vinyl version of the ABS DD that if you don't mind I'd like you to try so we can see where it needs to be opened up more to account for the added vinyl...

Does anybody have access to a Honda Fit passenger side air vent to try and see if it fits? I measured 70mm at the face (which might be a hair too big, but worth a shot - closest I could find at CarMax).

Just added the Miata vents and used the 6LE trim rings I had on my original vents.

Sir,

What ring are you using for the passenger cup holder?

It's been a while since I added it, but I believe it's aftermarket for Mustangs. It fits the passenger slide out cup holder, but not the console cup holder.

I definitely like the steering wheel, although I don't think it is air bag equipped, right? I am not sure if I could safely make this kind of modification to my car in the future and it being legal to do in my state.

I understand the feelings to improve upon the interiors of our cars and bring them up to the current standards, which can be done with creativity such as yours, and with that of the rest of us. I think I will keep my vents as they are, but they do need to be cleaned up when I get my car restored and modified/upgraded.

Update: The steering wheel I would have to go with is the Cusco Leather, which uses an air bag. I might even be able to have my radio switches transferred over to this steering wheel, which would be awesome!

I would appreciate any product names or links to the aftermarket wheels with compatible airbag function. Especially one with a flat bottom. I don't really care about the radio controls.

Correct. Trailblazer SS shift ****. I have one installed too. That "carbon fiber" section is normally silver painted plastic. They covered it with "carbon fiber" vinyl wrap.
