Default 6LE splitter, yes or no?

Trying to decide whether or not the 6LE splitter would look good on my car. Ive got mixed opinions from my friends so I thought I would ask you guys. Some friends have said definitely and others say its too clean, dont touch it. What do you think?

I say don't touch it. I also think it would be a mismatch with the drag setup you have.

It good. It looks like the splitter might give it more up front which is good. BTW whats is that tire wheel set up 17/15? is the car lowered?

Yea its lowered with viking coilovers on all 4 corners. 17/15 combo and the rear end is narrowed. Front tire is 26/6 and rear is 295/55r15

Default Splitter decision

I just bought a splitter off the special they had going.I wasn't to thrilled with having to drill 3 holes for extra support of splitter. After I got it on the car it looks awesome.Very happy w/how it looks.Took about an hour.I made up 3 spacers for the middle support area for a more aggressive look.I'll to post a picture up.

Don't touch it. I think it won't look good on the car. Without seeing one installed on a red car. I have only seen them on a black car and you can't really see it.

In a weird way, I think they are so subtle that they actually look tacked on and out of place. If they were more aggressive, I think they would look better. I say skip it.

^^Just depends on how you adjust them. Look at the difference from the red car to blue car...

That lookes really good mikes87ss. I agree with 6LE on the fact of the red one, it looks really good tucked under like that even with the bumper. Hmmmm

I'd say skip it. Your car is beautiful, clean and simple - the splitter wouldn't really enhance the look at all and for the price, it's an easy pass.

Id say skip too. The other red birds, had black accents on the car to match the splitter. I couldnt see the rear with those pics, but maybe if you had the ceta mod it might blend in a bit more.

You would post up a picture of a silver trans am with one! If you have any other pictures send me some! I'm trying not to talk myself into this.
To the original post, it's going to look good on your car either way!

True. I always wanted more of a splitter like the m3 guys use that have the adjuster support bars but I guess with the way our bumpers overhang we can't really have that sort of setup.

I plan on purchasing one in the future. that and a 6LE diffuser. I think that the splitter gives the car a more uniform, flat look. It always bothers me that the trans am front bumper goes from flat to sweeping up right at the last minute. A splitter makes it look like it is "hugging" the road better rather then lifting up off of it if any of that makes sense lol
