Default Redline Good Product Installed

Hello everyone, so I got my Redline Goods leather in yesterday and spent the day slowly installing each piece. Figured I would include information about what it took to get these things installed. Theres some things that are not in their installation instructions that I found to help the install. But first some pictures installed.

Ok now for the install pictures

The center console cover is a weird piece to work with and without staples you will never get anywhere close to the piece being wrinkle free. I recommend getting yourself a staple gun with some staples no larger than 3/8 and work your way around placing plenty of staples around the entire center console. The picture below is before I really stapled it down so you will need more staples than this. The underside of the console afterwards will not be pretty but may sit a little more flush if you just get regular stitching instead of the thick piping I got.

Rip off the old Hurst **** leather like so and replace as follows. I followed their install instructions exactly and came out great. You need a tacky glue, paint brush and plenty of patience.

I hope this will help people make decisions on whether or not to buy some new leathers. But with my new steering wheel and new Napa leather pieces, all I need are new seats and carpet and the car will be nearly brand new inside. I love the feel of the Napa leather and I am very happy with the appearance of the new stuff. Yes it requires some custom work on your part but all in all it wasn't that bad if you have any critical thinking skills. lol

THanks yall for still being interested in F-bodys

The nappa leather feels and smells amazing. How did you end up installing the e-brake handle cover? I have one coming along with some other things from them. I like it with the red stitching, looks good!

I grabbed a flat head and shoved it between the button and the old handle and wedge the flat head back and forth to try to open space for the ebrake handle cover flaps to go in to. I used a small rubber tool to shove the flaps in the best I could, it's holding up well so far without the flaps coming back out but we'll see how long that lasts.

Looks awesome! great job on the center console lid. I've seen those put on without the staples and it just doesn't look finished. But yours looks great nice job.

Congrat to a wise decision of upgrading the interior. Looks very sharp!

I can confirm this. Did it in the same way and it´s holing up good.
