Default Cheap eBay grille

Wanted a black billet style grille, happen to find one 33$ shipped and had to try it out. Not bad.

Old

New

I'm pleased to ditch the floppy plastic.

Black out behind it with plastidip, it looks better when you can't see the red IMO. Over all looks good, I got the same one on my z28.

I don't mind the red for now. I'll see how it sits with me after going to and from the car. I'm happy with the price.

No link, used the app on my phone. Just search 2002 Camaro grille and I'm sure it will come up quick.

This is the first thing I have got off eBay actually. I did get a hurst stick and the ball that I didn't like so I threw that in the s10 and the 6 speed short stick from the s10 went into the Camaro and works way better.

Got wheels locally, hood and tail lights for the 98 TA locally as well. I have a SLP lid and filter coming from a guy out in California.

Yep these are on eBay all day for that price. Simple cheap mod that looks good. And as mentioned above, the car will look much better with the area behind the grill painted black.. same goes for every color car with these grills.

Either way though. Car looks good!

I just ordered one on monday! Should be sitting on my desk at work tomorrow, I'll need to pick it and some plasti dip up....I hate plasti-dipping a car but I agree on the area behind the grille. Did yours come with mounting hardware?

The area behind the grille just doesn't bother me since I know I want a new front bumper cover I guess. Then I'll worry about it, then I'll cut out the foam as well so air can get to the radiator.

It comes with 4 screws that drill in to the cover.

Well done OP. I bought the same one. For <$50 you really can't complain. I did a plasti-dip behind the grille, but that's my taste.

Every time I walk to the car and see the red behind it, still isn't bothering me. Just glad to ditch the plastic thing.

Downside of shopping with cheap ebay dealers: They sent me a black billet grille set for a 2008 Ford Explorer instead of my 99' Camaro....

Yeah, I'm a little peeved, but I'm pretty zen about everything taking way longer than expected with the car haha. I'm just glad after seeing yours I know mine will look good.
