Hood emblems

I just wanted to know if anybody has put the firebird emblem on their 4th gens. If anyone can post some pics up if them have them, and also where they bought the emblem from. I currently have a red 2001 and was thinking about adding the bird to my hood. Just want peoples opinions. Thank you

I wouldn't do it.... they belong on the 70's cars and that's it. Just MHO.

I've seen a few, and only one looked good, was a black car, and the bird was done in matte black, so very subtle, and looked good. But a big flashy gold one looks horrible. Agree with above about the 70s. If u can keep it "ghost" it looks OK.

I agree ... it looks good on the OEM hood but I'm not sure how I feel about a Ram Air. The curves hide the bird details

I agree as well. I've seen them on the Ram-Air hoods, and it just doesn't look right. If you want something to dress the hood up, go with the Carl Blackbird stripes, or the big stripes that cover the top of the Ram-Air portion of the hood.

^^^ Those look good on the WS6 hood. I had a hard time choosing between those or the Blackbird stripes. Ended up going the Blackbird stripes route.

It's not letting me upload the pic. I'll try again later. It's the strip that goes down the side of the hood.

Ok. I've seen that look before. That looks good too. A little more subtle than the full stripes down the hood like mine.

Yes sir, 19x10 and 20x11. I sold them to another member on here. I kind of regret doing so, but as my HP/TQ levels increased, traction was an issue. For looks though, can't beat them.
