Default 2002 Camaro SS

Here is my 2002 Camaro SS. I've done many upgrades from stock but appearance wise it looks factory. It has 19,000 miles on it. What do you guys think? Not sure if I want to change it up too much.

Mods Include:
Lou's short throw shifter
SLP sub frame connectors
Box Alum. control arms with reloc. brackets
Bear Eradispeed Rotors
SLP headers
SLP 3 inch Y pipe, NO CATS
SLP MAF
1.85 roller rockers
Voolant induction
Corvette power antenna
SLP panhard bar-adjustable
SLP shock tower brace

Car is gorgeous man, don't touch it....mine just turned 21000 miles and people appreciate the Virgin look with some nice mods hidden away.

SLP grille and whistler the headlights. It's a very good look for pewter.

The all-silver wheels on a silver car are a bit plain IMO. Too bad they didn't offer the 10-spokes with a bright machined lip like the ZR1 wheels, even that small touch would make them much better.

I would swap out the stock painted 10-spokes for either chrome 10-spokes or chrome ZR1/SS wheels (both were options for 2002 SS) if you want to keep it looking factory correct and break up the monochromatic silver appearance. Or, there are several aftermarket wheel options that would look great and be an easy and quick reversal if you wanted to go back to stock.

The only option I don't like on the car is the CME; I'm vastly in the minority, but nothing can change my mind on this one.

Otherwise, the car is a beautiful low mile example that appears to have been cared for quite nicely. I would leave it mostly stock-appearing as well. The SS grille mentioned above would also be nice if you don't ever need a front plate (nothing looks worse than those plate brackets that attach to the bottom of the bumper.)

Damn.. 14k miles? Thats ridiculous Guz...

Op, that is a beautiful car man. Ive said it so many times these cars look best lowered and plain looking. I hate the look of stripes on these cars.

Agreed SLP grill for sure and lowered..

Very clean car!

I know cause I saw it in person at Musclepalooza this year.

Another vote for the SLP grille if you don't need a front plate in MA.

Thanks for the comments. I like the SLP SS grill. I think I may look into investing in that this winter. I also planned on lowering the car with hotchkis springs. I'll have to search to see what the whistler mod is, I've never heard of it before. I thought of tinting the windows but I'm not sure I want to do that. During the summer the windows are down and the T tops are off so it wouldn't make too much of a difference. I've been searching for wheels for a while, I like the old crager style wheels by American Racing like some guys are running on here. I think they look sharp on these cars. This winter I plan on going through the car and cleaning up a few things. Keeps the opinions coming...
