Bought these and well the h1 bulb is not great, sucks really. So will a Hid bulb help this or not? Or should I got with a new set of headlights with a better bulb in it so I can get the hid with the better bulb size.

For some people, putting in an HID Kit helps a bit, but the real problem is the poor design and quality of those aftermarket projectors. They can't produce a proper beam pattern and they don't last.

Your best bet is to either buy a set retrofitted with better projectors or do it yourself. Look in the Lighting FAQ for more info. (https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...hting-faq.html)

Something like this.

Same headlight housing as yours. Just modified to fit mini h1 projectors.

If you are interested in a complete setup, feel free to drop us a PM or email. We offer plug and play solutions which will outperform any of the existing aftermarket lights available.

Blackbird Lighting is the only one I buy retrofit units from. Don't bother with anything else.

What would you recommend for a 98-02 Camaro that already has the DDM plug-n-play HID upgrade? Will these 35W fit your headlights just like stock?

Took the car out at night and noticed all street signs were a big glare so there is certainly some light scattering.

NOTE: I do not know the terminology of these things. The wires go to a ballast and more wires go to something that makes light. AFAIK HIDs are alien magic.

BLS sells just his lights, minus the HIDs
