Car polishing basics
Can anyone chime in on a good starter kit to bring back the shine and luster in paint? My goal is to become competent at this task then move on to wet sanding and more advanced techniques.
Feel free to recommend a base kit with polisher that I can use. Sponsors feel free to chime in...especially if you offer a military discount.
My first 25 meter target will be a '08 white Pathfinder, then a black Silverado 3500 that could use some love then an '08 Red Viper with silver factory stripes...that I don't want to ruin first. Lastly will be a '98 Corvette that I really want to wet sand and buff to remove the shitty job the last paint shop did.
Feel free to chime in with the understanding that I am a total, complete and utter noob at this. I plan to detail my cars in a closed garage...except the 3500 and am using a CR spotless De-ionized water system.
