so i was thinking about getting a set of these for my camaro in red, only problem is no one has them, and no one is selling them. So i went through a connection at GM and can piece them together. I have a price on everything, what do you guy think is too much per seat to make it worth it????

 

They are pretty sweet but do you even know if they would fit? Whats the price you have on them? I cant imagine them being cheap. We can't tell you how much of your money to spend on it, thats up to you. I have thought about 6LE recaro seats and having them upholstered to my liking but that would probably cost me close to $3k and thats too crazy for me for seats.

 

You can get some bada$$ Corbeau's for around 1200$* Heard the 6LE were not that great at all*

 

For what your going to pay for those seats, man I would seriously look at Recaro sportster cs seats.

 

Really depends on the fit and finish when it's done and ofcourse the affordability is up to you. There are very good other seats out there though.

I can build them for about $1800 a seat, and that's brand new everything from GM.

I love the sportster can seats I've installed a couple of them. There are some issues tho, one they are almost impossible to find in stock (we orders them from Recaro and took 7-8 months to get them!) and two the fake leather ones are $1500 but only come in black, I was wanting to do red so I would have to get them recovered.

 

Well I see your logic there. The c7 seats are a direct bolt for c5/c6 Vettes and Ive seen both c5 and c6 seats in 4th gen f cars, so looks like your good there. Just search the threads where guys swapped in c6 seats to see what they had to modify on the tracks. The money part is irrelevent. If its worth it to you who cares what someone elses opinion is. Theres guys that run wheels and tires on these cars that exceed 1/2 the value of the entire car. Do what you like and enjoy.

Sportster CS seats are sexy

 

I build my hown seats even added Heaters and keep the electric motors... wile adding a bit of lumbar suport with swede and leather and color matching stiching... go and buy a cheap Seats on google and ask someone to adjust and refill them how you want it... its way cheapest and most efective whayto have a custom made seats.
