Default Want opinion on interior mod

So I had an idea floating around for a mod for my door panels.

I like how the "grand sport" stripes look on the upper vinyl portion. Just wasn't sure about replacing the carpeted insert. I was planning on wrapping the door in vinyl as well. If I don't replace the carpet insert I was going to put some orange stitching in the vinyl wrap.

It looks like way too much to me but did you check out RedlineGoods? I have a TA but got their door inserts and I love them..

Redline goods is where I got the idea. However I'd rather save the money and do it myself (I have experiencing working with leather/vinyl).

My opinion is, that I would not do that.

However, I see nothing wrong with a two-tone interior scheme, I just wouldn't do anything as "loud" as actual stripes. Something like the stock "Red Accent" interior option for the earlier cloth interior Camaros looks very nice and would be more my style.

Is your car Orange or Black or White? If so, then that would look cool. Not so much for other colors unless you choose a different accent color.

Car is black w/ black interior. I know orange and black is a little halloweeny but I saw another 44th gen with the same color scheme and loved it lol.

You know what might be cool, wrap the carpeted portion in the same black as the upper portion, then do grand sport stripes to kind of "pick them up" from the top portion, as though they continue behind the arm rest. You'd probably have to move the GS stripes or flip them, but maybe that's how you make the bottom portion tie in. Personally, I like where you're going with it.

Way too much orange for me. If you absolutely just have to have orange, do it with the stitching.

I think if the stripes and insert were something more subtle, like a dark grey, it would look pretty cool.

Spent some time last night outlining where I'd put the stitching. Threw the GS stripes in just to see how it looks. I do think they're too loud, so I might come up with something different for those panels.

I was planning a "Two-tone" wrap for the dash. Same color, but some panels will have a carbon fiber pattern, and others will be plain black vinyl/leather.

I wouldn't do the stripes in a bright orange vinyl, but I think it might be cool if you did just the outline of the stripes in orange stitching.

I think the stripes would look good, leave off the bottom part though. And I think the stitched outline would look good too*

What about black suede stripes with thick orange stitching? Or sub suede for a actual black leather or maybe dark gray.
