Aftermarket Hoods - underhood insulation I just scored myself an already painted black TruFiber WS9 hood from Hawks Motorsports in extremely nice condition.
Do the aftermarket hoods need the underhood insulation pads or would it be a good idea? It's not a show car by any means. Did stock WS6 have any?

I don't believe the stock WS6 hood had any, mine certainly doesn't. Would have been a pain and cost money to redesign one that fit all of those contours. As long as you dont have anything like exhaust or a turbo within a few inches you'll have zero issue with your fiberglass or paint.
