Update. Finally got the lower console installed/done and installed the carpet and interior back in. I had to stitch up the separation in the carpet and I still have to remove some carpet from the rear tunnel area as there was just a bunch of excess in that area, while I'm there I need to find a decent boot for the e-brake and sew that in. I'll also be making a small upper console in front of the shifter and underneath the dash with some usb docks and a small space for phone/wallet/etc. Overall I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

side note, i have the same sparco wheel in my car but your looks to be in way better condition lol i need to find a way to clean the swede that has been matted down from usage.
I left the rear brackets. Didn't want to cut into the floor.

The Speed Inc. carpet is much lighter than the factory. I opt for no backing and it weighs 27 lbs less than the factory carpet.

That looks awesome! Wish I'd seen the speed inc carpet when I was doing my weight reduction. I pull the stock stuff out and cut off all the insulation I could.
