1) When removing the glass piece from the frame, so long as the new polarized film is up, does it matter which way the glass goes back in? Those two little rubber spacers fell out and I don't know if there's a special procedure to put all back together. does a specific long edge of the glass need to be at the top, for example.
2) When the engine was rebuilt in 2019, they thought I had an instrument cluster issue and took out the cluster. They originally forgot to put the trip odomoeter reset pin back in. I've always thought it stuck up further than it did before and/or was looser fitment. Do the attached photos look like OEM? If not, any idea where to get the proper pin?
3) Recommended solution to clean the glass the film goes on, clean finger prints off the black overlay & clean the clear plastic bezel?
Edit: As suspected, I didn't get the odometer glass oriented correctly the first time. With power and without film, all I see is a solid orange backgound without digits.
Sticks out about an inch from the bezel
About 3.5" overall length

As it looks after the first rebuild with OEM film removed but new film not yet applied
Other side. Do the metal clips need to touch anything on the board?
One short edge has a white line on the LCD
The other side does not.

Based upon that video, I ordered their PFA_AD_SM:

the damaged film just flaked off, unless there is another layer on top? Do I need to replace film anywhere else?
I used AFlash PFA-AD linear polarizer film. I think from this site?
