Default hybrid ceramic wax and coating? Any experience? better then hardshell?

Is "turtle wax ceramic spray coating" the same as "mequiars hybrid cerwax wax"? One says coating the other says wax but both are identical products from the looks of it. The turtle wax says spray it on after washing your car then regular cloth wipe for protection up to 6 months and two coats for protection up to 12 months. The 8$ hardshell turtle wax product ive always used says the same up to 6 months and 2 coats for longer protection so im assuming its the same idea.
Is this ceramic spray wax or coating any better then the standard hardshell wax? Seems the classic hardshell leaves a nice thick protective layer of wax once applied and cleaning with a terry cloth.
Mequiars hybrid spray wax says you wash the car dry it then spray the ceramic wax on and then rinse the autmobile off no cloth is needed to apply the wax just simply a rinse off.
It says this ceramic wax protection is far superior then any standard wax.

Hybrid Ceramic Wax; Do you want an easy to use car wax that with cutting-edge, sophisticated technology that delivers the latest in protection? Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax is the answer. With all-new, advanced Si02 hybrid technology you get ceramic protection that's so easy to use, you can actually wax your paint as you rinse off your car! After washing & rinsing off the soap, simply spray on Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax and then follow that with a second rinse with a strong stream of water. This final rinse helps to spread and lay down the wax evenly for you. Dry your vehicle like you would normally with a quality microfiber drying towel, like Meguiar's Microfiber Water Magnet Drying Towel. There's no rubbing or buffing and there's no curing time. You're left with ceramic protection and durability well beyond conventional wax and extreme water beading protection. Conventional? No. Sensational? YES! It's Ceramic made easy!

let me know if anyone has used these products if they are more durable or offer better paint protection in 107 degree summer texas weather as well as withstand climate conditions as far as waxing goes. Not looking for something just expenisve and for car shows but whatever offers better paint protection for my 99 corvette and expensive automobile to have to repaint.
