Rubber and weatherstripping maintenance
can someone please recommend the best products to do some maintenance on the rubber and weatherstripping of our cars? Mine is a 2002 WS6, and I’d like to take good care of the rubber and weatherstripping before the summer heat damages them and make them dry, I live overseas in UAE, and you wouldn’t believe the summers we have here.
I already have a very small leak from the driver’s side B pillar, but that’s to be expected with a 21 year old car. We’re talking about 2 drops on the rear driver side seat, floors and headliner are dry. please see the below current pics.
much appreciated guys. Thank you

That is all I have used on my rubber/plastic/vinyl trim and components (interior and exterior) for 20-25 years now. All weather strips on my '98 are still perfect and supple as new. For an indoor car, just one application per year is usually enough. For outdoor/daily driver, 2-3 times per year is probably a better program.
Depending on the surface, I apply it either with a soft cloth or a foam applicator (in either case, I spray the product onto the applicator and then apply it to the surface). Buff dry with a separate clean cloth. If over-application (meaning streaking once dry) occurs, you can simply wipe it with water to even the finish.
Once dry, it's a non-greasy finish with a low gloss luster.

based on what I’ve read and seeing a lot of threads, this is what guys have been recommending in no particular order:
303 Aerospace protectant
Mothers VLR
Dielectric grease
Shin-Etsu silicone grease from Honda
(part number : 08798-9013)

I received the shin-Etsu silicone grease, and I was just wondering what’s the best way to apply it on and how often do I need to apply it ?
thank you
