Default Again with the changes...

Well I'm still thinking about changing a few things around with my car. I'm planning on possibly doing custom leather also. Here are my possible options:
  • Rid the Z06's and get the Iforged Areo's (18's) in gloss black with chrome lip.
  • Keep the Z06's and get a SS hood with the same stripes steve had on his.
  • Get Z06's powdercoated black + custom leather + grand sport stripes.
  • Keep it as is.

Here is a photochop of #3 which is one of the cheepest routes:

You can visit my website to see how the car is now.

i don't like the z06s all the way black, but if you could get them that gunmetal or charcoal color (like in your picture), and yet they still be pretty reflective, that would be REALLY sweet. i don't know if that's possible though. otherwise, with your color car, i say to keep the chrome on the rims. i like the z06s, but the aero's are amazing rims too.

Hmm right now I'm thinking about a SS hood and doing the scoop gloss black with a pinstripe and then getting a low-gloss black peice on the inner part of the SS scoop, kind of like the image I have attached. And then I'd also do the custom leather seats.

As for the chrome Z06's, if I do that option I'd keep them because I wouldn't be able to afford new wheels and I would just get a hub and wheel centric spacers kit from H&R to get a more agressive offset on the Z06's (Close to even with the outter most fenders).

Go with the hood & matching paint rather than the sport stripes. I'm just not a fan of the sport stripes tho.

The hood with my patented stripes

They were always a big hit at shows since they were subtle and looked almost factory..

Im a big fan of the aero wheels also though.. the hood/spoiler would be a bigger impact on the looks of your car.

I say option #2, I really liked the way that the stripe looked on steve's car.

Leave the wheels as is......DO the stripes and custom leather, and the hood with Steves "Stinger" stripes and NO insert.....more subtle like the master said.....

my 2 cents...

I personally think it looks great as is. In my opinion its one of the cleanest best looking camaros i've seen. Nice and simple, but still badass looking.

Razzak - Ya at the moment I have no plans to add the GS stripes anymore.

Steve1969LS1 - Its either yours or the ZL1 center stripe's, I'll decide that after I get the hood. And I agree, I think the hood/paint would be a bigger impact then just the wheels (even though they are very nice).

Blu Beast - The leather is pretty much a must now. Hood I'll be doing with one of two stripes I mentioned. Side stripes probably won't go back on anymore.

D Rock - Thanks! It means a lot.

L-SS-1 - Yep that is Diesel's. Mine would be gloss black though if I did get them.

1st - Leather
2nd - Hood (but the hood is not a huge thing to me).

You have one of the best web sites I have seen. Your car is awsome too.
