Default SS hood/spoiler, or keep the RS bodykit

Hey guys I'm torn between the 2, I love the look of the SS camaro, especially with fatty tires in the back. But I bought a Z28, it has the RS bodykit, which I like also. I'm lookin into lowering the car 1 inch with hotchkis springs and Qa1 shocks. So The body kit is goin to be even lower. Should I just take the kit off, and get the SS hood/spoiler for my appearance mods? I need someone elses opinion.

my z is lowered pretty damn good but i still wish i had the RS Bodykit. I say keep the kit and get the SS hood and spoiler. Im planning on gettin the RS kit, ss hood and ss spoiler. If u think its too low after that, then take the bodykit off, otherwise keep it.

I can give you free shipping on the hood, and a discount on the SS spoiler. Give me a call - this special for LS1tech.com members ends soon.

I'd skip the RS kit. Looks over the top and hurts the lines of the car. Get rid of it and go SS all the way. Or cowl hood.

How do you remove the RS spoiler from the car?

Keep the RS kit, I think it makes the car look unique from the rest of the fbodies. I love mine.

Ill let it go for 400 shipped. 1 front facia piece has scratches, but other than that, its all in good condition. The shipping is goin to cost a lot due to the size of the pieces. its black btw

Ohhiitznik I just pm'ed you about buying the body kit if the other guy doesn't end up wanting it or if shipping is too crazy. I'm in Michigan and would gladly pick it up for that price.

99Z28vert: You can take it. Bit too pricey for me right now. My car just started leaking coolant from somewhere. I have to go to the dealership

Unless you want to have all new bumper covers put on and the car to get repainted, leave it on! I am speaking from experience.

I got a mix of both, just do what YOU like. Otherwise you just become mainstream.

The spoiler does not bolt off. There are two spaces on the ends of the spoiler that will need to be bonded....molded back and sanded then painted...taking off the kit won't be just cutting it off....

I'm sorry, but what the hell does that mean?

To take off the RS spoiler, you must take off the 3 nuts on both rear fenders, and remove the 4 nuts holding the middle portion on. The new spoiler will just bolt on where the other one was. You will just have to get the fenders 'glassed, and repainted. Why couldn't they have just used some good 3m adhesive like Wings West????

I'm a bit prejudiced I think, but I'd keep it. It sets you apart from the rest. Besides, when u lower it, it's gonna look baddass!

Just watch those parking stops!
