need to see @$$ pics of Trans Ams with True Duals
Please post pics of your Trans Am rear bumper with no exhaust tips.
I'm considering on going with a true duals setup but I'm curious to know what a Trans Am rear bumper will look like without any tips coming out. I may just have to go with LS1Speed OTA setup.
TIA,
Rome

I'm not really in favor of the open spaces either. I think an over-the-axle setup might be in favor.

I think it's more of an appearence issue. If you don't care about appearence just going fast, then by all means do it.
I wouldn't do it, cuz it just looks a little weird.
Maybe you can fab something up to fill it in, shape something real areodynamically to go with the bumper.

I don't think it looks that bad. Stock tips are so blacked out and shadowy you can barely see them anyways. People will be more drawn by the sound of the exhaust than the lack of exhaust tips (that they probably won't notice anyway).

my functional solution to this problem was to run regular exhaust, no cats ,headers, etc... but, for the true dual thing i have two cutouts one on each side of ypipe right after the headers, the great things is i can have it when i want it, and it gained 10rwhp and 10rwtq on the dyno with thme open
