Default Sealing Clear Corners

... and so the modding begins

so i finally order a few parts for my SS and just received my clear lenses about 1hr. ago, and now im going to seal them and drill holes on them.

question: what type of sealent do i use;do i buy it at my local autoparts store, hardware store? what size for the holes?

i bought my lenses from pacificie, any one use these? what are your thoughts on them?

Those are the same brand I had as well as two of my friends, we never used silicone sealer or drilled holes and had no problems. If you're going to use a sealer probably a clear silicone sealer would be best, you can get it at Lowes, Home Depot or about anyplace you can think of. Guys who have drilled holes can tell you better but I would think 1/8" hole would work. I had a thread on installing clear corners once, I'll see if I can't find it.

The oil from your hands get on the bulb and that creates a hot spot on the bulb which warps or destroys it when it's turned on.

...because some clear corners get water in them and cause the bulb to blow... by drilling holes on the bottom it will let any water inside the lense drain out

Like what AW/whiteZ-28 said, it's the headlight bulbs that can have a problem if you touch them...I've never had a problem with touching the turn signall bulbs with my hands though.
