Default gauge replace

can i replace my 96 T/A gauges with 97 T/A gauges?

When I had my 93 I did it, the wierd thing is the tach would only work with an MSD digital 6 ignition box hooked up. But it does fit it does work and you probably won't have the tach problem with the 96. You HAVE TO MAKE sure it is a 97 though the 98+ will fit its the same gauges but they are calibrated different......

does the odometer work? like can i take it to the dealership and get calibrated?

The odometer works but the mileage is saved in the gauges itself. If you wanted the mileage to be correct you could check with a dealer I don't know mine was 10k off and I just told the person I sold it to the correct milage.

So I would do the change if you plan on selling the car in the next few years not really worth it.

But yes the odometer will count up correctly after it is installed
