Default Those that have clear corners

I'm not putting clears on my car, but I am trying to change my turn signal bulb. After like a half hour a wrigling, I got the thing out, but now I can't get the assembly back in. Any helpful hints on throwing the signals back in? I've already cracked and flaked a bunch of paint off the bumper, so I'm pissed because the bumper needs repainted now. I just want to get the damn thing back in. Help!

Don't be afraid to force it, The bumper is pretty easy to pull out or push in (at least mine was) so you can put that light in. Sucks about the paint man, I didn't have any paint flake off but I did have the same problem when putting my clears in...it was a pain in the hands.. (cuts and scapes!)

Good luck!

i just put clear corners on my car last week, and the best way was to pull the headlight out, and then it was easy from there on. i put my bulbs in with the corners out, then just plugged them back in.

Man it just took me 5mins to do this. Just look at it and try to see how it would slide in. A very slight amount of force was used.

*Oh ya, DEFINATLY have the headlights out.

All you have to do is remove the headlight, and it makes it SO much easier. I've done this like 10 times now, and that, by far is the easiest way. It's too bad you screwed up your bumper. You should have asked first.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I didn't think it'd be too difficult, so that's why I didn't ask. Oh well, I needed to repaint the bumper anyway due to an auto-x incident

What sucks too is that the socket for the bulb melted, and it's $35 at the dealership. Nothing ever goes smooth for me!

That sucks about your bumper. Mine has been burnt out for going on 2 months now. I went and bought the light bulb, popped my hood in front of Advanced Auto thinking I would pop it in right there. Wow, was I wrong, but now that I know how sounds like it should be easy.

Yes, I realize that. The problem was that since the socket was melted, it was deformed enough that I couldn't twist it out at the angle my hand was at. Even after I had the light out, I had to twist it out with pliers. Oh well.

Well, I installed my $30 socket today. I wish I would have known about removing the headlight 3 days ago because I was done in like 5 minutes. I figured it'd be a pain to pull the headlight out, but it's only 1 bolt haha. Anyway, thanks for the help everyone!
