That sunoco hood is perfect, best looking cowl hood there is. I would seriously consider buying one if someone made it.

Ok guys - it's a go....
We will produce both hoods for you guys - the sunoco (by popular demand) and our "mini" mike moran hoods (for those who like the look of the mike moran hood but want it for street use).....
I should have more info on production time/availabiltiy date and prices in the very near future.
Thanks for everyone's input on this.

awesome, the sunco is the best aftermarket hood i have seen for the f-body.

is there anyway to look into making the fender flares and front clip in a similar design as well?

On the fender flares and front clip - this maybe a future project for us, but at the current time we would not be able to take it on....as we are extremely backed up with new mold projects....but if you guys are still interested - please check with us around spring/summer.....
On the lists - I've had several guys ask to be put on the list already.....I will definately start a list up, but I would like to start one once the hood gets closer to completion. I will post a thread for everyone to respond to once it gets closer to this time....
Thanks.

Great news guys. Especially if the fenders and front clip eventually get done. I'll definitely have to look into one of these hoods though.

I really think with both the hood and front clip you would sell them faster than you could make them. I'm sure lots of people would be in for the fender flares as well, but all the body work cost would probably scare a lot of people away, but that hood is what people have been looking for since the LS1 camaro came out, a smooth cowl hood that actually looks like it belongs on the car. The Front end would sell like mad with all the RR guys who want a front splitter or to convert to a front breather. It would be huge with all the FI guys with front mounts as well. So, in my humble worthless opinion, I think it would be foolish to not produce that front clip as well. I hope you do the fender flares as well, but it would definately be a limited market.

I think if you smoothed the seam where the cowl joins the stock lines of the hood, you'd get a design that flows much better. Also, I'd say that I agree with the statement about putting that on a 93-97 Camaro. It wouldn't flow with the lines. However you could just make a more squared and edgy version for those cars.

Keep up the good work. The design shows promise.

Thanks for the additional comments.....I believe the best thing to do is see if psj can put together some guys and come out and give some input on the hood....
We are hoping to finish up the hoods pretty quickly - probably in Jan or early feb. sometime.
The fenders and flares, will probably be in spring or summer - once we finish our current mold projects...
Thanks.

This one. It's the LT1 302 with a one-off GM hood. It's actually functional and uses a WS6 LT1-style air cleaner that seals to the hood. I think if you made the bulges more pronounced (higher) it would look killer on a LS1 Camaro.

also, and idea on the prices? maybe even for the front clip too? that clip/hood would be a awesome setup with a turbo w/ FMIC. the camaro needs something like that to open up the front end for the FI guys. i think they would sell like crazy

We are hoping to knock out the sunoco hood by mid january/early febuary. To be honest, if we do the front end and rockers, it will be something that we would not be able to get into until later next year - as we have several mold projects going at this time. But we maybe able to do these late spring/early winter.
I do not have any pricing on the hoods yet - probably not until they get a little closer to completion. But they will fall between prices of our 4" cowl hood (pin 290.00/bolt $450) and our SS style hoods (pin $495.00/bolt $595.00)....of course we will have a discount for the members of ls1tech.

Please put me on the list for the Sunoco hood. Also the Sunoco spoiler would make a nice addition for us RR guys. Sign me up for that also.

I'm not sure on the spoiler - I can check with our production manager to see if this is a possibility. If we do decide to take this on, it would probably fall in the time frame with the fender flares.....
In regards to the list - once the hood gets closer to completion, I will post a thread for everyone who is still interested to get on a list for the hood....I'm sorry, I know everyone is looking forward to getting the list setup, but, I would rather not at this time until we have a definate date on the completion for this hood.
Thanks for your patience.
