Default Avg. paint job price
For those of you that have had aftermarket hoods painted, what would you say is a fair price and what have you guys paid? Got to get a WS6 hood painted and I am shopping around. Any suggestions?

In my area the avg price seems to be $400.

right on the mark there mad......that's what i was quoted for that 3" raised SS hood we talked about some time back. $400 in the Chicago area.

i paid 1200 to get my whole car painted including fiting the hood and fixing a dent, u can see pics on my thread

If there is NO bodywork (just scuff and paint), I'd say $300.

I was quoted $150 buy a guy here in Texas. He has real nice work too. That was all before I decide to take it on myself.

I had the local shop do my WS6 hood for $250, painted and installed. I've noticed it varies a TON depending on where you live.
