Question Do I like my ground effects?

I'm not so sure anymore... So many people's cars look slick as hell without them. I've just had them on for as long as I can remember (factory RS effects) that I can't even picture it without them. Please give me some feedback on this. I'm so torn

Keep them on, they give your car a unique look.

I would keep them just replace the front lip for a RK Sport or WW. It will be alot of work to refill all the holes the GFX are going to leave if you take them off.

Exactly what 2_wacko said. I decided to remove mine, and now I am sick of looking at the holes, so I'm gonna have to pay to get the sides welded and painted, and the rear spoiler area painted as well, since I switched to the SS spoiler. I highly regret that decision.

Ditch them dude. They look horrible. I've never understood the attraction people have for those GFX. I've never liked them and never will.

I think they look pretty clean on your car and they look good with the SS wheels and with your cars stance. I would take the side moldings off the doors to give it an even cleaner look.

I like them on white cars with chrome wheels...just like yours. I too had the "Sport Appearance Package" gfx, and I took them off 1 year ago this month and never looked back I personally hated my car with gfx once I lowered it and put 17" wheels on. But yours looks pretty good.

What did you guys do about the holes left by the spoiler on the side of the quarter panals? Any idea about how much that will cost to fix?

Your car looks awesome. Yes i would advise removing the side molding as well. I have a white 94 Z and it looks good without the side molding.

I honestly like the look of Camaros better without them, but that's just me. I think that if you want to take them off, go for it, but be prepared to spend a ton of money fixing all the holes and having things repainted. If you leave them on, get an RKSport front GFX piece, they look great. I think it looks good on your car with the chrome wheels and it makes it unique, so go ahead and leave them on.

I have debated whether or not to take them off since day 1 with my car. The only thing holding me back is the $$ it'll cost to have the holes filled in and painted.

I just took some orange filler (cant remember if it was Bondo or not), put it in the holes, removed the excess filler, let it dry, and sanded it down. Then I took some red scratch repair paint, the kind in the little tubes, and matched it to my car. Its nowhere near as noticable now, but at least water wont get in there and rust from the inside out.

Good Idea!! Since my car is black it may be easier to cover up anyway. Another question how many holes were left on each side? 3, 4, 5 ....?

I believe there were 8 or 10 on each side.

I'd love to say that it looks horrible, but that's my own jealousy. You should remove them and sell them to me.
