The color is long beach blue pearl. I also was starting to think that the stripes and flames were too much. My dad did all the paint work on the car, and the color of the flames change colors depending on what angle you look at it, it moslty looks purple and blue. I also painted the headlight lens blue also.

hey man.....

i'm not a big fan of blue cars, but that looks stuning. there's three of us in the office right now, and they can't say much for the color of the flames, but nice anyway. ghost flames might have been a better route. personally, i think it looks great and the size and style of the flames are dead on!!! wish my dad could paint like that. you're a lucky guy!

later,
Dave

They are ghost flames, when you look at them without light shining on them you can't see them as much. In those pictures it was really bright in there and they are easier too see. As far as any mods go, I am done for now. I just got done building a 408. That is in it right now, so I am kind of out of money for now.

i agree with everyone, your old scheme sucked *****..... but the new one is tight I like the flames but ghost flames would of worked too. Just depends what you like. Attention or sutleness......

The new paint job looks really good. I would have kept the grille black and paint the SS that blue though.
