I pick up the Meguiars DA Buffer kit at the world of wheels car show this past weekend. The best 250 bucks I have ever spent I also got a lot of free stuff too. A moron can polish my black car and make it look good. My car has never looked this good since it had 3 miles on the odometer. Out of 1-5 I give the PC DA polisher a 5!!!

First I used the yellow pad w/ some kind of Meguairs cleaner wax? Step 1 out of 3 it came with the kit. then I used that beige colored pad with the Meguiars NXT I did half the frnt fender and it was CHERRY! You could see the difference my frinds were there and seen it too. now they all want to borrow the ****. I was like hell no! LOL 250 BUCKS I will charge a $20 rental fee atleast. Good **** though. The weather sucks here right now and the car is covered outside and on jacks waiting for a 9" install but as soon as weather gets nice I will try to post picks.

Just bought the 7424 and a few pads from Amazon for $119 (pads extra) I've been looking for awhile, but I keep chickening out as I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right product. This thread took the doubt out of my mind.

I know it is not a rubbing compound, but anyone ever messed up a paint with manzerna + PC 7424???

From what I have read, it is virtually impossible to do any damage with the 7424. As soon as I can save up a little $$$.. I will try menzerna's entire line.

there are more options than the IP and FP now, I havent read too much on them, but several different inbetweens and finer and more abrasives..
I kind of in a yoyo effect with the FMJ though, sometimes it looks good, then sometimes after a QD it will haze up... kinda weird..

great results. no swirls. just use some common sense and see what the paint will take..
note: even after the IP my paint was somewhat shiny kinda like a couple week old wax job or something...
