Question Color of car? Please help!

Hey guys, Im new to this message board. I currently have a 93 Firebird and I am selling it to get a 98-2002 Firebird Cant wait, but I need suggestions on what color to buy. I think that black looks the best when kept clean and whatever so guys with black cars is it as horrible as people say with the swirls and scratches or is it worth it? Any other color suggestions? Thanks!

When I was looking for my Formula I was only going to buy a black, sunset orange, or navy blue car. In my personal opinion those are the three best colors. I really wanted a sunset car but they are hard to find in a Formula. I ended up with a black one. This is my third black car (second black LS1) and yes the swirl marks and scratches are much more of a problem with black. Everything shows up in black. But if you wax the car a lot and keep it clean and don't drive it through road salt after it snows the swirl marks are manageable. If you want a color that's easy to deal with look for a silver or pewter car. They don't show swirl marks hardly at all and they are basically the color of road dust, so they never really show common road dirt and water marks. I used to have a silver Mustang and I could drive it in the rain and when it dried the car still looked totally spot free.

I have Black... the only reason i even bought my TA was cause it was the only 98-02 f-body with the LS1 in my town for sale. I had my 00V6 camaro and was looking for a LS1 camaro.. not even considering a TA/firebird till I saw this black beauty. But SOM and navyblue metalic is also a great color, but nothing says muscle car like Black.
Oh yeah, it is a pain in the *** to help clean.. but I wash my car almost everyday, even if it wasnt black.
