IMO, its rice if its not actually holding the hood down. i like the look of hood pins thought, and if it does save weight and free up room i would consider it. i would be too worried about someone popping the hood and screwing with stuff

I'm sure he was planning to have functional hood pins. WEREN'T YOU? Please say you were! I think it's a good idea, and saves weight, but I wouldn't do it if I drove at constant high speeds, like over here in Germany.

Some of you guys need to lay off. I mean give the guy a break! I have a pined on hood on my black 92"camaro and my 01" will soon need a pined hood. So what am I "riced out" hell I even have a ton of japan (imported) parts. Sparco,garrett,ect.....

Go with what you want bro. If you want pins go for it and the hell with what everyone thinks. Besides some old school camaro's and other hot rods had hood pins, they are not rice! Good luck man.
